Twilight fans will soon have a new star to scream over.
Bryce Dallas Howard is taking over the role of Victoria from Rachelle Lefevre, whose committment to the movie Barney's Version made it impossible for her to begin shooting Eclipse on August 17 in Vancouver.
Lefevre portrayed the Bella-hating Victoria in Twilight and will do so again in November's New Moon.
"We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise," said Erik Feig, president of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions for Summit Entertainment. "Rachelle brought Victoria to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role."
So, it will be Howard that seduces newborn vampire Riley, to be portrayed by fellow franchise newcomer Xavier Samuel in Eclipse. What do you think of this casting change?

Really below the belt for summit. The new director perhaps didnt want her.
Im worried about the choice, too bad they couldn't keep new moon director on, this new one is too bloody gore violence kinda guy than romance. I fear the romance , which by the way is what the book is about , love, will be lost in all the gore. He also made some rude comments about Twilight. Frankly he scares me...
