Transformers 2 Already Setting Records
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen opens in theaters today, but it already has been setting records with its midnight showings early this morning.
The sequel to the original blockbuster earned an estimate $16 million, making it the second highest gross midnight run after The Dark Knight's $18.5 million.
So why is this a record? The Dark Knight had the advantage of opening on a Friday. Transformers 2 is the highest grossing midnight run for any Wednesday midnight showing.
Don't be so angry. Second place is still pretty impressive!

Well I live in the Dominican Republic and I hace to say that even being a bussiness day, every movie theater in my city was full, crowded, with queue lines going from the second florr. I myself went to the 9:20 show and I have to say that every single need I had, every expectation, was fulfilled.

the critics are idiots. What they say never has any affect on my view of a movie. ROTF was absolutely amazing!!! I have a good feeling I'll see it a few times in theaters.
