Jon Favreau's Iron Man 2 may not appear in theaters until May 7, 2010, but that doesn't stop Paramount Pictures from teasing us with a first look of Mickey Rourke as the villain, Whiplash.

Whiplash's alter ego, Ivan Vanko, is a Russian who, "has constructed his own version of a suit," according to Favreau.  He continues, "The technologies are definitely related, and that's part of the core theme of the film."

The difference is that Whiplash's suit will have a pair of whips powered by the suit's glowing chest piece.  And of course a much less attractive man underneath it.
