Rosario Dawson: Sin City 2 Filming This Year?

Though things have been slow on the Sin City 2 front, Sin City star Rosario Dawson tells MTV Spalsh Page that filming for the sequel could begin this year.

The actress that played Gail in the 2005 hit said, "Yeah, I talked to Robert and Frank.  They actually just finished the script for Sin City 2 a few months ago."

She further goes on to give fans hope by saying, "There’s talks about it shooting sometime this year."

Keira Knightley: Out of Pirates of the Caribbean 4

Sorry, corset fans:

Keira Knightley has ruled herself out of Pirates of the Caribbean 4.

In an interview with Moviefone, the actress said: "It was a completely fantastic experience, and it was an amazingly large portion of my life, but I don't think I need to go there again... I think that it's done. But I'm very excited to see the next one. And [Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow] is so wonderful in that character. I think it'll be wonderful."

Movie Rumor of the Day: Freida Pinto the Next Bond Girl?

From the slums to the bed of James Bond?

According to rumors, spread by Great Britain's The Sun, Freida Pinto has been invited to a screen test for the next James Bond movie, tentatively titled Bond 23.

“Freida came to the attention of the Bond team when they were casting Quantum of Solace," said a source. "She was too young at the time to have a part as a love interest for a secret agent.”

Added the insider:

“[Slumdog Millionaire director] Danny Boyle is favorite to take the helm of the next movie, which would increase Freida’s chances of a starring role.”

Alice in Wonderland: First Look!

The recently-launched magazine Disney twenty-three includes a preview of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.

The adventure opens in theaters on March 5, 2010. It stars Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska as the famous title character.

The Release Date for Spider-Man 4

Marvel Studios has set a release date for Spider-Man 4. The movie will swing into theaters on May 6, 2011.

It's early, of course, but here's what else we can report on the follow-up film:

  • Elizabeth Banks will not appear in it;
  • Bryce Howard wants to, and Kirsten Dunst will;
  • Playwright David Lindsay-Abaire will pen the script.

Scarlett Johansson and Mickey Rourke: Confirmed for Iron Man 2

The Iron Man 2 casting rumors have become a reality.

A rep for Scarlett Johansson has confirmed that actress will play Black Widow in the sequel, which is scheduled for a May  2010 release.

"Scarlett is thrilled to be a part of Iron Man," the rep told E! Online.

Meanwhile, after a series of negotiations, Mickey Rourke has also agreed to his much-rumored role: he'll portray the villain Whiplash.

Iron man 2 will also bring back Gwyneth Paltrow returning as Pepper Potts, along with Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Don Cheadle as Col. James "Rhodey" Rhodes.

Up Next for Zack Snyder: Sucker Punch

With Watchmen doing well in the theaters, Zack Snyder has lined up his next project.

The director will helm Sucker Punch, an all-girl action movie that he co-wrote. He says it's "crazier than anything" he's ever done.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sucker Punch focuses on a girl named Babyface that is institutionalized by her stepfather and retreats to a fantasy world to escape. Snyder describes the movie as "Alice in Wonderland with machine guns."

The cast includes: Amanda Seyfried (Mamma Mia) as Babyface; she'll be joined by Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical), Abbie Cornish (A Good Year), Evan Rachel Wood (The Wrestler) and Emma Stone (Superbad).
