Jackie Earle Haley: The Next Freddie Krueger?

A Nightmare on Elm Street remake is on the way.

But who will don the long, dangerous fingernails of Freddie Krueger?

The most recent rumors attach Jackie Earle Haley - who plays Rorschach in the upcoming Watchmen movie - to the role of this iconic dream-stalking child murderer.

Freddie was originally played by Robert Englund, but sources told IGN he turned down the part in this remake; Billy Bob Thornton has also been rumoured for the role.

A Clip from Sunshine Cleaning

Sunshine Cleaning came out of Sundance last year with a lot great deal of buzz.

Now, the film will be enjoying a limited release on March 13.

Enjoy this clip from the movie, which stars Emily Blunt and Amy Adams as sisters who start a business cleaning up crime scenes. It will make sense when you see it.

Brea Grant Cast in H2

According to director Rob Zombie's official blog, Brea Grant has joined the cast of H2.

Grant, best known for her role as the speedster Daphne in Heroes, will portray, "Laurie Strode's co-worker at Uncle Meat's Jave Hole - Mya," according to Zombie.

H2 will be released on August 28.

New Superman Movie Rumor: Will the Wachowski Brothers Direct?

Might the Wachowski Brothers (best known for creating The Matrix universe) reboot the Superman franchise?

A source at Ain't it Cool News told the website that Wachowski collaborator John McTeigue said the siblings had previously been intending to make a move based on DC's Plastic Man.

"[The Wachowskis] are currently reviewing their options... [McTeigue] says if they do agree, he will likely either succumb to providing second unit support on the movie or will champion the directorship of Plastic Man.

John Malkovich Signs on for Jonah Hex

John Malkovich will take on Josh Brolin in Jonah Hex, the Warner Bros. adaptation of the DC Comics story that begins production in April.

Malkovich will portray Turnbull, a wealthy Southern plantation owner whose son is killed by Union soldiers during the Civil War. He blames Hex, a former confederate soldier-turned-hardened bounty hunter and gunslinger.

The First Inglorious Basterds Movie Trailer

Here's the first movie trailer for Inglorious Basterds.

In the drama, Brad Pitt portrays Lt. Aldo Raine. During World War II, he leads a contingent of Jewish soldiers into German-occupied France, where they torture, destroy and scalp some Nazis.

The following preview features a pep talk delivered by Pitt to get his soldiers into full-on murdering mode. There's even a Hitler cameo at the end. Enjoy!

Zachary Levi Signs on for Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel

Zachary Levi, star of NBC hit Chuck, has been cast opposite a few famous computer-generated singing rodents in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.

Betty Thomas will direct the follow-up to 2007 hit Alvin and the Chipmunks, which somehow grossed $217 million in North America.

Levi will portray the cousin of Jason Lee's character, the latest individual to get tangled up with the tiny animated trio.

Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler and Jesse McCartney will again provide the chipmunks' voices.
