Elizabeth Banks Speaks on Role in The Uninvited

Elizabeth Banks has portrayed an amateur porn star, first lady Laura Bush and, in The Uninvited a"creepy psycho," as the actress herself describes it.

Earlier this week, she spoke about the latter role with MovieFone:

Q: Your role in The Uninvited was kind of a change of pace for you. Why did you choose it?
A: Pretty much for that exact reason -- I wanted to play the creepy psycho. I have this thing about when people tell me I can't do something, and I really felt like I needed to do it. And this was one of those things where most people involved -- except for the directors, who always knew that I could do it -- had to be convinced that it was something I could do. I kept getting told, 'She's the smiley one from The 40-Year-Old Virgin' [laughs].

Fortunately, the character will be included in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. He'll look like this:

Mickey Rourke Really Will Be a Wrestler

We didn't think we'd be covering WWE spoilers on this site, but Mickey Rourke has given us little choice.

The Oscar-nominated star of The Wrestler told Access Hollywood this week that he'd be participating in WWE's Wrestlemania 25, scheduled for April 5 in Houston.

“The boys from the WWE called me and asked me to do it,” Rourke said. “I said, ‘I want to.’ I’m talking with [WWE legend] Rowdy Roddy Piper about it.

Moreover, when the actor does jump into the ring with WWE, it appears he may already have his sights set on an opponent.

“Chris Jericho, you better get in shape,” Rourke taunted. “Because I’m coming after your a**.”
