Is Mark Millar Penning a Superman Movie?

We already know that Mark Millar is planning a Wanted sequel.

Recently, though, the graphic novelist talked G4 about a possible Superman movie.

As the video below depicts, Millar says he pitched the idea to Warner Bros. Pictures and hopes to receive a response  over the next few weeks.

"I've had this plan for like 10 years for a big three-picture Superman thing, like a Lord of the Rings epic, starting over from scratch again with a seven-hour Superman story. One to be released each year." Millar said.

Watch the video of Millar discussing this possibility now:

Is there a new Superman movie in the works? I grew up watching George Reeves as Superman on TV, after school or on week ends. Then Christopher Reeves made Superman movies until his accident. Now we have a new actor playing Superman and I can't believe that people have abbandoned the man of steel.
I don't remember seeing a movie out about Wonder Woman, I thought that the Wonder Woman TV series from the 1960s would also have a movie made like Superman. That would be nice too.
DC Comics heroes and heroines should have movies made about them too, like Marvel Comics had movies of Spiderman, Xmen, Fantastic 4, Ghostrider, The Hulk, and Ironman.
There could even be a Justice League movie made to bring to life the cartoon Justice League series.

As a kid, I used to read DC Comics and Marvel Comics. Another movie idea could be making a movie about the Haunted Tank stories DC Comics had out in the 1960s. The story about the Haunted Tank is made around the commander and crew of a WWII Stuart Tank that is haunted by the ghost of General Jeb Stuart, from the Civil War. The tank commander is named after the famous Civil War general and has a rank of Leutenant. Gen. Jeb Stuart tells his name sake Lt. Jeb Stuart about up coming dangers he and his tank crew will face, before they happen, in a round about way. In WWII, the Stuart Tank was an under dog as tanks go. It was small and light weight and mostly used as a recon vehicle. In the DC Comic it was able to knock out German Panther and Tiger tanks with special ammo. If you could find copies still out there, you could read them and see how the stories went.

DC Comics also had a western theme comic about this cowboy named Bat Lash. The comic would ask: "Will he save the west or ruin it?", I think that is how it went. Bat Lash was also from the later 1960s and early 1970s.

Anyway, I would like to see more Superman movies made. Maybe some of these other DC Comics I used to read will help you with some other ideas for movies.
