Idris Elba Considered Michael Jordan Movie

Stringer Bell might be dead.

But the plans for a Michael Jordan movie are being revived!

In a new interview with IGN, RocknRolla star Idris Elba - and the man who played Bell on HBO's The Wire - revealed a bit of information on the Jordan biopic he's planning to shoot.

"I am trying to make that happen," the actor said. "Michael is a very private guy, but we're working at it slowly. The film that I'm trying to make isn't about the actual basketball, it's about the business. Michael Jordan is such a big international brand - how do you make that happen? How do you make that happen as a sports star? The brand has done so well for years."
