Coming off Iron Man, currently starring in Tropic Thunder, and planning a Sherlock Holmes remake, Robert Downey Jr. is a new man.

Just ask the actor himself, as Rolling Stone did when the magazine brought up a lofty quote the star uttered a couple years ago.
