The Dark Knight, Heath Ledger Profiled in Magazine

Director Christopher Nolan spoke to Entertainment Weekly about Heath Ledger for this week's issue .

Here are highlights of what Nolan had to say about the man who plays The Joker in the The Dark Knight:

On Heath's commitment to his character: "The guy had serious nuts. What I needed was someone who wouldn't be afraid of the comparison with Jack Nicholson. And then I saw Heath's incredible performance in Brokeback Mountain. Such a lack of vanity. This was an actor who wasn't afraid to bury himself in his character â€" to a massive extent."

On Heath spending months working with a voice coach fine-tuning the Joker's cackling cadence: "He tried to articulate to me what he was doing with his voice, but it was sometimes hard to understand. He talked about ventriloquist dummies, the way their mouths moved, the way their voices wouldn't appear to come out of them. He said he wanted the voice to have a mocking quality, a sort of disconnectedness."

ReelzChannel.com recently spoke with Richard Jenkins (best known as the dad from Six Feet Under). The little-known actor stars alongside Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Frances McDormand and John Malkovich in Burn After Reading.

The movie was written and directed by Joel and Ethan Cohen.

"This is the description, the Coen brothers' description of my character," Jenkins said. "I play, it says 'Ted Treffon, the soulful manager of Hardbodies Gym.' "It was a terrific script. I haven't seen the film yet, but it was fun."

Burn After Reading comes out on September 12. Check out its trailer now.

Daniel Radcliffe Says Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is Sexually Charged

Fans of Trainspotting will love Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Wait... what?!?

In an interview with Empire, Daniel Radcliffe compares the upcoming Harry Potter movie to the aforementioned heroin-based movie, saying "there's a fair amount of sexual energy and drug parallels."

We haven't read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - but that does quote make sense to those that have

Happy Birthday, Tom Cruise!

Despite his recent string of bad luck and insane comments, Tom Cruise is still one of the most well-known movie stars on the planet.

Therefore, we'd like to wish the actor a very happy 46th birthday. We're sure Katie Holmes and Suri are celebrating with him today.

It would take too long to list all of Cruise's films here - there are many more movie rumors for us to spread today, after all - but here's a look at some of his impressive resume:

Jonah Hill Learns How to Train Your Dragon

We hope you aren't sick of Superbad star Jonah Hill.

Because the comic actor has a slew of movies slated for 2009 and 2010, included the one he recently focused on during an interview with MTV.

"It's like a Shrek type of movie, or like Kung Fu Panda," Hill said about the project he's currently working on, entitled How to Train Your Dragon. "It's an awesome animation movie."

How to Train Your Dragon is based on a children's book. The plot follows young Hiccup Horrendous Hancock III on his quest to capture a fearsome dragon. Hill provides the voice of Snotlout, the resident bully.

The movie's release date was recently pushed to March 26, 2010 to make way for the onslaught of 3-D films including A Christmas Carol and Avatar.

"[They're making this] with myself and America Ferrara, and Jay Baruchel is in it," Hill said of his co-starring cast, which also includes 300 star Gerard Butler.

"It'll be awesome," Hill said. "I'm sure they'll make a big deal out of it when it comes out, because those animation movies are cool and really popular."

Christian Bale Disses, Dismisses Robin

Christian Bale is an obvious fan of the Caped Crusader.

But ask the actor about joining up with Batman's long-time running buddy on screen and don't expect a favorable response.

"If Robin crops up in one of the new Batman films, I'll be chaining myself up somewhere and refusing to go to work," Bale reportedly told the World Entertainment News Network.

Fortunately, Robin won't be cropping up in The Dark Knight - or any Batman installment that Christian Bale stars in.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Spoilers, Photos

As an article in USA Today put its:

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will face a unique situation: It arrives more than a year after the completion of the literary saga. (The seventh and final book, Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows, was published last summer.)

The big-screen versions, the filmmakers realize, now have to be separate entities.

"We had to make this film a worthy successor to the last â€" and a successful stand-alone film in its own right," producer David Baron told the newspaper.

Here are a few photos from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to try and hold you over until it arrives in theaters on November 21...

Ron Weasley Pic Paying Attention Draco Malfoy Professor Dumbledore

As readers of the book series know, danger may come from inside Hogwarts during Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Harry, now 16, is suspicious of Malfoy; the former works with Dumbledore to retrieve memories pertaining to the Lord Voldemort. However, being a teen as well as a wizard, he is drawn to Ginny Weasley.

Do Harry and Ginny share a sweet snog?

"They're about to kiss," director David Yates said. "Then the bloody Death Eaters turn up and cause all sorts of anarchy."
