Justin Theroux to Pen Iron Man 2

The director is on board.

All the stars have signed on.

Until this week, all Iron Man 2 needed was a writer.

But sources told Entertainment Weekly that actor Justin Theroux (pictured, Mulholland Drive, Six Feet Under) is taking on the script for the wildly anticipated sequel.

Marvel Studios won't confirm the deal, but Theroux has generated a lot of interest after early screenings of Tropic Thunder, which he co-wrote with Etan Cohen and Ben Stiller. Theroux made his directorial debut with last year's Billy Crudup/Mandy Moore dramedy Dedication. We'll let you know when this deal is finalized.

But writer and director J.J. Abrams says his upcoming Star Trek movie will focus on the relationship between this odd couple. At a Television Critics Association panel, Abrams said:

"We never saw how Kirk and Spock became so connected, and this movie [reveals that]."

No Current Plans for Simpsons Movie Sequel

Earlier today at the Television Critics Association press tour, The Simpsons creator Matt Groening was asked for confirmation that a follow-up to The Simpsons Movie was planned.

Groening acknowledged that the first film "took four years" and was a lot of work. As for doing another movie, Groening said: "It's going to be awhile," but added that he "get to it, I'm sure."

However, Groening say there are "no plans at the moment."

Megan Fox Told to Lose Weight for Transformers 2

We'd take Megan Fox any way we could get her.

But those behind Transformers 2 reportedly told the gorgeous actress to pack on the pounds before filming.

“I’d lost a lot of weight and got really scrawny, but I was told I had to put on size for Transformers because [director Michael Bay] doesn’t like skinny girls,” Fox told Fox News.

The star's diet these days?

“I eat red velvet cake before I go to bed every night," she said. "And if you eat meals later, you’ll put on weight faster, so I had dinner at 10 p.m.”

As for the movie itself - Transformer 2 spoiler alert! - Fox said viewers won't get to see her new, naked body.

"There are no big love scenes,” Fox said of her and co-star Shia LaBeouf. “At this point, Shi and I have been dating for two years so we’re at the bickering stage, like an old married couple.”
