Riddler - My first idea and favorite is using Don Cheadle; yes he is black but he's a very good and serious actor, changing the villain's race could be interesting. I think they should completely remove the green suit though and not have him act at all zany like Jim Carrey. After Cheadle, my next favorite pick is Joaquin Phoenix.
Black Mask - William Fichtner. If you recall he played the bank manager in the opening to The Dark Knight, where he immediately opened fire on Joker's gang and asked them if they knew who they were stealing from. He clearly was some level of gangster himself, he had decent proficiency with a gun, did not fear anybody, was still alive at the end and the Joker told him a cryptic message. "What doesn't kill you just makes you... stranger." Breaking off a piece of your momma's gravestone is as strange as it gets.

This is a bit long, but bare with me, yeah, I personally think, Tiny lister (the massive convict who throws the detonator away on the boat) as 'BANE' being the main villian. after the batman is blamed for the crimes in gotham, i.e, the boat thingy. he goes for revenge, but only after the goverment experiment on him, giving him the super human strength thing. Harvey dent is not dead after his fall, he is instead moved to arkham. then i reckon, as side villian, the riddler, played by bill murray, making the riddler a more realistic character. breaks all teh convicts out of arkham releasing two-face (and the other super villains like scarecrow, penguin, catwoman(?), they only come in as minor cameos tho, to show gotham as anarchy without batman), two face then joins bane hunting for batman, cos batman came up on the coin flick, as to die. batman then, once again don's his cape to battle the escapeded psycos, this is probs done in a montage or whtever. then batman is to tired to fight anymore, then bane breaks his back like wht happens in the comics, then maybe introducing a kool robin, but nor a camp one, were talking like, jake gylenhall, with no costume, etc maybe? i dont know, those are my thoughts, tell me wht u rek

Okay I've seen Dark Knight 3 times now and had a conversation with some friends about villains in the next movie. First of all, Two Face isn't dead and neither is The Joker. They are both locked away in Arkham. I agree that the Joker should come back in another Batman movie as Daniel Day Lewis but not until the Robin and Harley Quinn characters are introduced. The Joker kills Robin in the comics and I would love to see it happen on the big screen. Although, I heard that both Mr. Nolan and Mr. Bale have said they won't do a movie with a Robin character in it...LAME! My hope is that Two Face breaks out of Arkham with the help of whichever other villain is featured in it (probably Catwoman), and they reek havoc on Gotham while Batman is vilified himself.

i'm not sure if Robin would be cool. I know he was super lame in the batman: forever. I know Joker wasn't dead in the Dark Knight, but i just can't see anybody playing the joker like Heath did, but I dunno. 2 face would be cool to come back (but I thought he died...seemed like it to me). I agree that the riddler may be too similar to the joker (though Johnny Depp is an AMAZInG actor and I have no doubt he could pull it off - assuming it was more mature and less Jim Carey like). Mr Freeze would be lame. I think the Penguin could be kind of interesting and Catwoman could be either really sweet or really stupid.

I think that they should do both the riddler and catwoman in the next movie. For the Riddler I think Johnny Depp or Crispin Glover. If they want the riddler more dorkie than go with Crispin but if they just want to go the full bad ass route use Johnny.
As far as catwoman I think they should make Rachel Dawes, aka Maggie Gyn..(how ever you spell it)hall come back as catwoman. They could do something where she is so angered by what happened to Harvey that she moves away and changes her name to Selena Kyle, goes through something similiar to Batman/Bruce in Batman Begins as far as training and then comes back to Gotham to be a kind of good guy bad guy like in the comics. Or you could go the amnesia route but thats a tad hokey. If they use Rachel as catwoman, a relationship between herself and Bruce has already been established and she knows who batman is and why he does what he does which would make her one of the more dangerous foes.

I want to see Clayface and Killer Croc. Killer Croc is a brute and has no other motivation besides liking to hurt people. With him, there would be no exposition. Batman would be doing something and Killer Croc would just slam into him. Clayface, on the other hand, is all pathos. He doesn't want to be a villain, he just feels as though he has no choice.

I know this will sound crazy but I think IF they bring back the Joker I think the person who could do it and look a lot like Ledger and possibly pull it off would be James Franco. Crazy I know but he kind of looks like Heath and he's not a bad actor. I know this isn't Spiderman but he could pull it off, but make Depp the Riddler and let him steal the show like Heath did. I do like the Harlan Quinn idea b/c she could be the jokers girlfriend that he talked about in the movie that he said left him b/c of the scars. What do you think?

Very Good ideas.
However, doing the Joker is a little to risky if you ask me. Heath was perfect for that role. Why try to find someone like him.
I think a Catwoman/Penguin villin combination will be, in a sense, a remake. Same thing with Ivy and Freeze.
However, a Catwoman/ Riddler idea seems like a good idea. It would be interseting to throw in Harley into the mix.
The actors for these people would most likely be a Johney Depp as the Riddler and Angelina Jolie as Catwoman.
As Morgan Freeman said in the Dark Knight when how Batman's new suit would hold out agianst dogs he replied "It would hold off cats well."

Oh God! If Johnny Depp comes into the Nolan Run of Batmans, it will be the end of them for sure. No better way to ruin a good thing than to put an over-seen, horrible actor such as Johnny Depp in it. No Leigh Whannal I believe would be the PERFECT joker. He has a sense for the disturbing, he has the face and the style to pull it off to the "T" without question.

Well in the older movie the Riddler and Two-Face teamed up. I could not help but thinking with Two-Face's fate uncertain that he and the Riddler would be the most likely next villans if they want to follow that route. But I do like how they change major story bits compaired to the older ones, I was so expecting the Joker to fall to his death in the Dark Knight like he did in the older movie.

Adrian Brody would play a great Riddler, he has that serious and deep voice that would give the Riddler that feel of authority that he has recently garnered in the comics. You could also get Jason Statham to play Mr Zaszas or thomas Jane for black mask. Penguin was done to well by Danny DeVito to be attempted another time around, (plus no one is short enough)
