Legendary Pictures is now on board to co-produce and co-finance the movie adapatation of the popular Microsoft and Epic Games video game, Gears of War.
According to Movieweb, the movie adapation is being written by Chris Morgan and directed by Len Wiseman.
In the video game, players take the role of a team of soldiers against a species of aliens known as the Locust.
The movie had been initially produced by New Line and was scheduled for a summer 2009 release.
