Get Ready for a Fraggle Rock Movie!

All of a sudden, Sex and the City: The Movie isn't the most exciting upcoming film based on television series. At least not to us.

It's been confirmed that the Weinstein Company will turn the Jim Henson series Fraggle Rock into a live-action musical feature, reports Variety.

Just like the series, the movie will be populated by a mix of human characters and Fraggle Rock puppets. The film will take the core characters Gogo, Wembley, Mokey, Boober and Red outside of their home in Fraggle Rock, where they interact with humans, which they think are aliens. Obviously.

The show premiered on HBO in 1983, ran five seasons and was broadcast in more than 80 countries. It ruled!

Reel Movie Reviews: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

With The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian set to hit theaters Friday, those behind the follow-up to The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe must be wondering:

Will this follow the successful path of Iron Man, or the doomed path of Speed Racer?

So far, critics seem to be leaning toward the former. Here are a few of their views on Prince Caspian...

- A bit darker, more conventional and more crisply made than its 2005 predecessor... -- Variety

- A far superior film in terms of the quality on every level, but one that suffers from the weaker source material... -- ComingSoon.net

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

- A worthy if somewhat less wondrous successor to that 2005 phenomenon... -- The Hollywood Reporter

- The second chapter of the Narnia saga is bigger and "more epic" yet lacks the dramatic energy and narrative involvement of the first, problems that also exist in the literary source (Lewis' book), but it signals the birth of a new star, Brit Ben Barnes... -- Emanuel Levy

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li Release Date Set

A release date for Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li has been set:

Megan Fox: Topless in Jennifer's Body

It looks like the rumor of Megan Fox going topless in Jennifer's Body is as much of a fact as this actress' overall hotness.

Here's a shot of the star emerging from the water after a scene in the film:

Jennifer's Body is a horror movie written by Diablo Cody. It will be her first film since winning an Oscar for penning Juno.

Tropic Thunder Co-Star Praises Robert Downey Jr.

Brandon T. Jackson has simple hopes for Tropic Thunder: he hopes the move doesn't send him to Hell.

"Hopefully everybody doesn't get too pissed off and we all can have a good time and laugh together," Jackson said, mostly referring to the role of Robert Downey Jr., portrays a white actor in black face for the film.

"Like people may say blackface, but no, Robert becomes a black man in the movie and the crazy thing about it, I'm not used to seeing Robert white," Jackson told MTV. "I mean this is weird to me. I'm confused just like you. When I see him as ‘Iron Man,' I love it because I'm used to seeing him as a black man."

Donnie Darko Sequel to be Titled S. Darko

A Cloverfield sequel? An Iron Man sequel?

Neither of these developments come as a surprise.

But we've just learned that cult classic Donnie Darko â€" the film that catapulted Jake Gyllenhaal to fame â€" is also set for a follow-up version.

Reportedly, the sequel will be called S. Darko, as director Chris Fisher had the following to say about the project, which will not be including Richard Kelly, the writer-director of the original:

"I am a great admirer of Richard Kelly's film and hope to create a similar world of blurred fantasy and reality."

Picking up seven years after the original, the plot will follow Donnie's sister Samantha on a road trip to Los Angeles, during which she is plagued by a series of bizarre visions.

Daviegh Chase will reprise her role as Darko the younger, while Ed Westwick (Son of Rambow), Briana Evigan (Step Up 2) and Justin Chatwin (Dragon Ball) will also star.

Will you go see S. Darko?

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Movie Trailer

On August 15, sci-fi fans can look forward to Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Take a look at the trailer for this anticipated film:

Happy Birthday, Jason Biggs!

While Jason Biggs recently starred in a Broadway production of The Graduate, and appeared alongside Eva Longoria in Over Her Dead Body, the actor - who turns 30 today - will always be best known for one action:

Attempting to have sexual intercourse with an apple pie.

With that in mind, here's a quick rundown of two films Biggs has made us laugh in:

The Hills: Alive with Movie News for One Star

Audrina Patridge - one of the beautiful, talentless stars of MTV's The Hills - has landed her first movie role.

She has signed on for Into the Blue 2, a sequel to the 2005 Jessica Alba/Paul Walker film that no one saw.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the flick focuses on Sebastion (Chris Carmack, The OC) and Dani (Laura Vandervoort, Smallville), a married couple hired as professional divers to search for Columbus' hidden treasure. To their horror, they learn that their wealthy employers have a much more terrifying agenda.

Patridge will play a no-nonsense, beautiful beach babe (who likely has one line and wears little clothing) whose boyfriend caters to her every command.

To paraphrase Carmack's character from The OC: Welcome to the world of movies, bitch.

A Slow Weekend for Speed Racer

2. Speed Racer - $20.2 million
3. What Happens In Vegas - $20 million
4. Made Of Honor - $7.6 million
