Look for Briana Evigan in S. Darko.

Here's a quick synopsis of the follow-up: Set seven years after the first film, it follows Donnie Darko's sister, Samantha, who, in dealing with her broken family, flees town with her best friend (Evigan) when they are plagued by bizarre visions

Berkley is playing a speed freak-turned-Jesus freak whose sentiments about ridding the world of its exponential sin are rivaled only by her infatuation with her dreamy pastor.

A New Hancock Commercial

While we've already published - and gotten giddy over - the official trailer for Hancock, here's the latest TV ad for the Will Smith summer blockbuster.

Still looks like a ton of fun:

Harrison Ford Would Revisit Jack Ryan

Now that Harrison Ford has successfully brought Indiana Jones back to the big screen (you might have heard), questions about reinventing his past characters have come up.

Ford as Ryan

The veteran actor is putting them to rest, though. Mostly.

"Han Solo isn't interesting to me. It's a very narrow sort of utility in the story and it was great for my career and it was fun to play at the time but I wouldn't go back there again," Ford told UK's The Sun.

He went on to explain his belief in why certain characters are better than other for re-exploration.

"There are characters that it seems to me are worth re-exploring given that the story advances your understanding of the character and deepens your relationship to that character and takes you into an area that's new and unexpected."

For example, what about Jack Ryan? Could Ford see himself starring in another movie based on a Tom Clancy novel? He doesn't rule it out.

"The Ryan films... I thought worth re-exploring again, but I wasn't a huge fan of the book on which the last one was based... I thought it was more out of date than the others so I think they made a cracking good shot at it and I think Ben Affleck (who starred in The Sum of All Fears) is very, very talented...

But again, that's a character that I think you could revisit acknowledging the passage of time and his increasing age."

What do you think, folks? Could you see Ford as Jack Ryan again? Or does this star need to find new roles?

Will James McAvoy Play Bilbo Baggins?

With The Hobbit now confirmed as coming to the big screen, one of the most pressing questions in the movie world is:

Who will play Bilbo Baggins?

According to a source at British newspaper The Daily Express: "A number of names have been doing the rounds, including Daniel Radcliffe and Jack Black, but James MCAvoy is the one the film's bosses really want. They're expected to have talks soon, so hopefully it could be confirmed in the not too distant future."

McAvoy seems like a solid choice, but perhaps we should take this source's information with the proverbial grain of salt. After all: Jack Black is really being considered?!?

Beverly Hills Cop 4: Planned!

Who knew that a cop from Beverly Hills and a series of revived dinosaurs had so much in common?

Following news that Jurassic Park 4 was in the works - despite the less-than-well-received showing of that franchise's third installment - we've learned that a fourth Beverly Hills Cop movie is also planned.

Did anyone even see Beverly Hills Cop 3?

Reportedly, Eddie Murphy will reprise his role as Detroit detective Axel Foley in the rumored Beverly Hills Cop 4. With his career not exactly taking off (although he was nominated for an Oscar for Dreamgirls), the actor took the idea for another movie to Paramount.

Do you wanna see Eddie Murphy return for Beverly Hills Cop 4?

The fourth Beverly Hills Cop film is set to start production some time next year for a summer 2010 release, with Brett Ratner in talks to direct.

The original Beverly Hills Cop, released in 1984, grossed $316 million worldwide. Together with the 1987 sequel and 1994 third installment, the trilogy grossed $712.9 million across the globe.

A Kung Fu Panda Clip

Sure, Carrie Bradshaw and company are expected to dominate the box office this weekend. But they better enjoy it while they can!

A Kung Fu Panda is getting ready to take this fierce foursome on in the near future. Here's a clip from that movie:
