Jack Nicholson Supports Hillary Clinton

For the record, the Reel Movie News staff are supporters of Barack Obama. We believe in hope and unity over fear-mongering and divisiveness.

But we gotta hand it to Jack Nicholson for the following, movie-related endorsement of that political phony, Hillary Clinton:

Amy Adams Speaks on Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day

Amy Adams Lives for a DayEven before her enchanting performance at the Academy Awards this year, we loved Amy Adams. We can't wait until Enchanted comes out on DVD.

For her next role, this adorable actress will star in Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. She recently spoke to ComingSoon.net about the part...

ComingSoon.net: Obviously, you don't have to fake the energy it takes to do this role.
Amy Adams: I'm a little bit older, so there's some pushing at times.

CS: How do you keep the energy level up for this role, because she doesn't stop.
Adams: No, she really doesn't. You just do it. You know, I enjoy it, and I played depressed characters, and there's a benefit to that, but I have to tell you, this is much more infectious in your life. You go home with energy, you go home with more spirit. I get something from my characters as well, even though I'm putting a lot in. I get something from them as well, and she gave me a different perspective on myself.

CS: Is that something you look at when deciding what roles to take, whether you can get something from the character?
Adams: Not intentionally. I'm sure somewhere in the back of my brain, that's why I'm responding. It's because, oh, I'm feeling something when I'm reading this, whether it's joy or some sort of simpatico relationship, something, I'm feeling something, and that's usually how I choose it. What do I feel when I read that and is that something I want to explore, something I can relate with?

Get Smart Photo: Agent 99... in Lingerie!

We were planning to see the Get Smart remake - starring Steve Carrel and Anne Hathaway - for the humor. But now we have another reason:

The quasi nudity!

Check out Hathaway, as the character Agent 99, in her underwear now. We knew the job of detective had more perks than movie critics...

Agent 99... in Lingerie

Get Smart -  in all its funny, kind of naked glory - comes out on June 20.

Liev Schreiber on Set of X-Men Origins: Wolverine

We're not sure what Liev Schrieber is doing here on the set of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Although we could summon up some dirty guesses.

Regardless, the following is one of the first shots of Schreiber on the set of this Wolverine film, dressed as the character of Sabretooth:

A Photo Ode to Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

There are rumors of a Pirates of the Caribbean 4.  And we're still trying to erase the second and third installments of this franchise from our minds.

But few movies are as entertaining as the original, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl . With that in mind, here's a look at a few photos from the film:

An Update on Saw V and Saw VI

IGN recently spoke to Scott Patterson, who enjoyed a notable role in last fall's Saw IV as Strahm, the FBI agent who finds himself trapped in a difficult situation as the film ends.

Patterson will be reprising that role in Saw V, although he revealed that he hadn't seen a script yet. Production on the latest installment in this franchise begins March 17, but the actor noted that producers are always "very secretive" about plot details.

When it comes to receiving hints on what's next in the extremely interconnected series, the actors are given some information but, "They don't give you much," Patterson said. "And we're not really permitted to talk about it. The level of secrecy… I signed all these forms. They could take away my house if I mentioned a storyline."

We don't wanna see that happen.

The actor is actually signed for the series through Saw VI, though he emphasized: "Well, they can kill off any character at any time â€" as you've seen. I'll be doing V and I'm signed for VI â€" but that doesn't mean I'll actually be in it or do it. It's their option."

Troye Mellet to Portray a Young Wolverine

Here's a bit of small casting news for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Literally!

Thirteen year-old Troye Mellet will play the role of the younger Logan in the upcoming Wolverine movie.

The Sydney Times reports that the young Australian earned the role of playing the young version of the character made famous by Hugh Jackman in the X-Men films thanks, in part, to YouTube videos of him singing.

Check one out now:

After producers saw said videos, Mellet was asked to submit an audition tape. That piece of footage led to the role, which enables Mellet to star alongside Jackman, Liev Schreiber Dominic Monaghan and many others in the spin-off, which arrives in theatres in 2009.

Ellen Page: Not Going to Hell

Ellen Page won't be going to Hell after all.

The Juno star was set to team up with Spiderman director Sam Raimi for the forthcoming horror Drag Me to Hell, but scheduling conflicts have caused the actress to back out of the project.

With the film being pushed back, it now he film coincides with Page's other projects, which include: Whip It, a roller derby comedy directed by Drew Barrymore, and Peacock, a thriller starring Cillian Murphy.

"We were racing to start production so that we could accommodate Ellen's schedule" said Ghost House in a statement, "but like so many other productions trying to start before the potential SAG strike date, this one needed more time and we had to push back the start of production."
