Beyonce Knowles has signed up for a new movie called Obsessed.
The burgeoning actress will play the knockout wife of an asset manager. Heroes star Ali Larter will portray a temp office worker who begins stalking this managerial character.
Production on Obsessed begins this summer. Beyonce will also be starring as Etta James in Cadillac Records.

The comedy will unite Juno director Jason Reitman with Jim Carrey, a pairing we're certainly excited to see in action.
According to Variety, the "politically incorrect" story revolves around a self-indulgent French nihilist (Carrey) who transports a stolen painting from Paris to London.
Reitmen is currently on production duties for Juno-scribe Diablo Cody's latest project Jennifer's Body, starring mega-hottie Megan Fox. Carrey next stars in Yes Man.
When Tropic Thunder hits theaters this summer - on August 15, to be exact - viewers are in for what looks to be a comedy treat.

In Tropic Thunder, the actor plays Kirk Lazarus, a very serious Oscar-winning actor cast in the most expensive Vietnam War film ever. There's a problem with Lazarus's character, Sgt. Osiris, though: hewas originally written as black.
Therefore, Lazarus decides to dye his skin and play the part authentically. Funny? Yes. Dangerous? That's an understatement.
''If it's done right, it could be the type of role you called Peter Sellers to do 35 years ago,'' Downey told Entertainment Weekly. ''If you don't do it right, we're going to hell.''
Seth Rogen has signed on to star in the Observe and Report.
According to Variety the movie, which will be directed by Jody Hill, begins shooting in April, marking Rogen's next project after he wraps Kevin Smith's Zack & Miri Make a Porno.
Observe and Report centers on Ronnie Barnhardt, a deluded, self-important head of mall security who squares off in a turf war against the local cops. Hill wrote the screenplay.
Donald De Line is producing and said about the flick: "It will definitely go to the edge. We love (Hill's) sensibility."
The film Penelope bills itself as "a fairy tale like no other." That was enough of a reason for us to include in among our ever-growing gallery of movies.
