Reel Movie Reviews: Jumper

reel-reviews-logo48.jpg According to Jumper, "Anywhere is Possible." But while that tagline is intriguing, it causes us to wonder: is a decent sci-fi movie possible?

Movie critics seem divided on the issue, as it relates to Jumper. Take a look below at their take on the Rachel Bilson/Samuel L. Jackson/Hayden Christensen film...

- All the state-of-the-art visual effects in the world can't compensate for spotty plotting and bland characters that prevent an intriguing premise from going the distance. -- The Hollywood Reporter

- A piece of idiotic sci-fi piffle called Jumper looks like $90 billion wasted on 90 minutes of popcorn junk. Even the butter is phony. -- The New York Observer

Anywhere is Possible

- Expect critics to make a lot of 'we wish we could have teleported right out of cinemas showing it' remarks... -- Sci Fi Movie Page

- Slick but extremely slim, "Jumper" seemingly attempts to heed the advice of its teleporting protagonist, who at one point suggests a trip to Rome that will "skip all the boring parts." -- Variety

That make me mad. This movie didn't live up to the hype. I was a little dissapionted although I love your site. I think it has great content and information. I also think its original and cool. I was emailing you to let you know how much I like your site. I have a site of my own. Its dedicated to highly anticipated upcoming movies. Right now I am focused on The Dark Knight. I was wandering if it was possible to do a link exchange. I know my viewers would love a link to your site for all of your great content and I think your fans would love the additional information on The Dark Knight. I think it would benefit us both. I would really appreciate it. Thanks Daniel
