The Fast and the Furious 4 Spoilers, Pictures

In actuality, this is a post replete with The Fast and the Furious 4 spoilers, pictures... and questions. Namely, why the heck are they making The Fast and the Furious 4?

If we ever receive an answer to that question, we'll let you know. For now, here's a plot synopsis:

Brian (Paul Walker) is freed from prison (the authorities found out that he let Dominic played by Vin Diesel go at the end of the first film) to help the feds stop a heroin importer known as Braga.

With the help of an informant named James Park, Brian â€" and ultimately Dominic Toretto â€" wins a place on the criminal's team, where he â€" and his flashy Nissan plan to catch the man red-handed.

Zac Efron: Excited to Be Seventeen Again

281x211.jpg Zac Efron is excited to be the age of seventeen again in the movie 17 Again.

In the film, which co-stars Matthew Perry, Efron plays a middle-age man suddenly transported back to his teenage years.

"Everything you do, you have to kind of view it from your dad's perspective," Efron said to MTV, revealing how he got in the head of an adult for the role. "I tried to do a few things that I learned from my dad " things that he thinks are cool but are really dorky.

"That seems to be working pretty well," he laughed.

Portraying the young Mike O'Donnell " who gets his wish for a chance to go back to high school and redo his life " is the perfect way for Efron to transition from tween heartthrob to adult thesp in flicks such as Me and Orson Welles.

This is especially true given that the character offers him a shot at growing up without the side-effects of actually growing up.

"I could have gone out and just played a kid somewhere and had a blast. But now I'm playing a 40-year-old guy," he said. "It's kind of fun playing an adult."

Director Speaks on Pirates of the Caribbean 4

pirates3photos51.jpg Will there be a Pirates of the Caribbean 4?

Geoffrey Rush more or less confirmed o MTV News back in September that he hoped any future films in the franchise would focus more on his character's relationship with Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp).

However, if there's any plans for Pirates of the Caribbean 4, Director Gore Verbinski is unaware of them.

"Show me the script," he said. "I look forward to reading the script for Pirates 4."

Verbinski knows, of course, that because of the ongoing writers strike, such a task would be impossible. But, then, past movies in the trilogy have already been green-lit, and even given a concrete release date, without a final screenplay.

Try it again, MTV reports, and you'll lose Verbinski, the director insisted.

"The process of having release dates and no script is not something I'm dying to go through again. I would have to pull the gun out of my mouth [first]," he said. "The reason I did 2 and 3, honestly, was because I still thought there was something to do there. I don't want to be involved in, you know, ‘Rocky 9.'"

Reel Movie Reviews: The Brave One

reel-reviews-logo45.jpg The Brave One hit theaters in September 2007. Because it just came out on DVD, now seems like a good time to review the film for our readers.

Here's what many critics thought of this Jodie Foster movie...

- Foster convinces as the petrified victim turned vengeful killer and Howard is superb as the world weary detective. Together, they just about managed to save a frequently ham-fisted script. -- Sky Movies

- The only thing that could have made this movie better is if it were revealed at the end that our leading lady was really a man. But we've been down that path before. -- Film School Rejects

The Brave One Photo

- Foster's pistol-packing turn as an avenging dark angel nearly sustains director Neil Jordan's grim vigilante drama through a string of implausibilities and occasionally trite psychological framing devices, with deft support from Terrence Howard. -- Variety

- Even the masterful Jodie Foster can't manage to raise this sluggish vigilante yarn above other movies of its ilk. -- Hollywood.com

An Interview with Marion Cotillard

Marion Cotillard Photo Marion Cotillard  is probably the least well-known Oscar nominee this year. With that in mind, here's an interview with the actress:

Previously, you've said that your roles in the Taxi movies made it difficult to be taken seriously as an actress. Does the Oscar and Cesar nominations for La Vie en Rose validate your efforts?
Marion Cotillard: I had my validation before this. Taxis are very big commercial movies and in France, in the business, they're not so serious. So you have to prove that you're an actor. I think "it" happened when I did the Jean-Pierre Jeunet movie, A Very Long Engagement. The role [was] fantastic. And they gave me a Cesar for nine minutes in the film.  So that changed everything for me.

America has mostly recognized La Vie en Rose for your performance, while France is more recognizing the movie as a whole.
Marion Cotillard: I'm so happy that the movie was successful in France, that it was successful here, that it was successful almost everywhere we released it. That's what is exciting. And it's going to be exciting to have 11 Cesar nominations. Of course, also very exciting to have the Oscar nomination.

You don't expect to be at the Oscars for a French movie. Let's say that having an Oscar nomination is very special and more unique than a Cesar.

Definitely, Maybe an Interview with Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds stars alongside Abigail Breslin in the upcoming movie Definitely Maybe. The film actually looks like a sweet, funny romantic comedy.

Here are highlights from an interview the actor gave to ComingSoon.net:

CS: There's definitely a balance you have to keep in a light romantic comedy. What are some pitfalls of the genre, things that would throw a romantic comedy out of whack?
Reynolds
: I dunno, I don't feel this movie contains the conventions that typical romantic comedies do. It's more like a romantic whodunit. You don't look at the poster and go, "Oh, he ends up with her." You just don't.

That's the reason for me to do it. I don't know what the pitfalls are of a romantic comedy… a big musical montage about a girl trying 35 different dresses on, I dunno.

Definitely Maybe Picture

CS: Who are some of your comedic influences?
Reynolds: At a young age I was given a box set called "Just For Laughs" and I used to listen to it over and over and over again. It was all old Abbot and Costello routines and the Jack Benny stuff, the radio plays. "The World's Cheapest Man."

A New Quantum of Solace Movie Poster

What do you think of the following Quantum of Solace movie poster?

We like it, but let's get real: we'd be first in line to see Daniel Craig, Gemma Arterton and Olga Kurylenko no matter what.

The Movie Trailer for Be Kind Rewind

Be Kind Rewind is a comedy that opens on February 22.

Its plot centers around a man (Jack Black) whose brain becomes magnetized. So unintentionally destroys every tape in his friend's video store. In order to satisfy the store's most loyal renter, an aging woman with signs of dementia, the two men set out to remake the lost films, which include Back to the Future, The Lion King, and Robocop.

Got all that? Good.

Now take a look at the film's preview:

On the Set of Eagle Eye

E! Online recently sat down with Eagle Eye co-stars Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan. What did we learn about the actors?

Shia LaBeouf Pic Shia Has Kept His Head: The Indiana Jones star is still the same old Shia as he was before Transformers took off: He's on a first-name basis with the crew and he engages with the hundreds of extras.

He's into Something Big Here: The story of Eagle Eye centers around mistaken identity, and Shia's and Michelle's characters are caught up in political and military hijinx that have them on the run. The film features an all-star cast, too, with everybody from Michael Chiklis to Rosario Dawson to Billy Bob Thornton.

Hey, What's in That Briefcase? In every take witnessed, Shia was carrying a silver briefcase and talking on a pay phone. Like Cloverfield, which benefited big-time from the secrecy that surrounded it, Eagle Eye has some unknowns hanging over the story. The cast, of course, couldn't get too much into it.

Eagle Eye opens August 8.
