Will.i.am Added to Cast of Wolverine Movie

will-i-am-kestrel.jpg Another day, another big name added to the cast of X-men Origins: Wolverine.

Hip-hop producer/rapper Will.i.am is set to play Kestrel/John Wraith in the new film.

Kestrel was part of Team X along with Wolverine, Sabretooth, Maverick, Mastodon, and Silver Fox. This character is a powerful teleporter whose alter ego is named John Wraith. Similar to the other members of Team X, Kestrel was given an artificial age suppressant; he's likely much older than he looks.

What do you think of Will.i.am playing an X-Men? Is it a good casting choice?

- Throughout the entire film, I was kept on the edge of my seat. I felt if I missed one small clue or scene, I would miss out on putting all of the plot together. -- HDfest.com

- It looks like a taut, imaginative, accessible big budget thriller. -- Cinema Blend

Apparently, [Aladygma] is the code name for Cloverfield 2. It is, however, important to note that JJ Abrams has more then one untitled covert film in the works.

This is all we know about the film at the moment. Please send in any news you hear on the possibility of Cloverfield 2.
