Ellen Page on David Letterman

With Juno set to become Fox Searchlight's highest grossing film of all-time, Elle Page appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman on January 3:

Jennifer Garner: Make Me a Klingon!

Jennifer GarnerJennifer Garner hearts J.J. Abrams. He was in charge of making the actress a star, thanks to their hit show Alias.

As a result, Ben Affleck's wife has nothing but good things to say about the director:

"He rocks; I would do anything for him," she said. Now, as his highly-anticipated Star Trek reboot continues to film, Garner wants to go where few actresses have gone before.

"I just want to be a Klingon in the movie," the Juno star pleaded, insisting that she'd even take a cameo. "I just want to walk through [the frame] as a Klingon."

Regardless of whether or not this dream comes true, the actress said she's something of a Trekkie herself, and can't wait to see what J.J. brings to outer space.

"J.J. is kind of like Juno," she laughed, referencing the quick-witted character played by Ellen Page in her current movie. "It's just his energy, his personality, and he's as smart as anybody I've ever met. Both funny and nice."

Gemma Arterton: In Bond 22, Not as Bond Girl

Well, we got it partially correct.

Gemma Arterton will appear in Bond 22, but she reportedly will NOT be portraying the main Bond Girl in the film.

The Hollywood Reporter recently wrote: "Arterton will play 'Fields' in the Marc Forster-directed movie, which has the working title of Bond 22 and stars Daniel Craig as Agent 007."

The Bond Girl character is said to be Latina (Mayrin Villanueva?), so Arterton would play supporting character. But The Hollywood Reporter called Arterton's character Fields "a nice-sized role."

Jon Favreau is an Iron Man

Different Iron Man PosterIn a recent interview, director Jon Favreau opened up about the upcoming Iron Man movie. Sort of.

Favreau does hint that an Iron Man commercial will air during the Super Bowl, but he's mum on most other rumors/spoilers. Here are a pair of excerpts from the conversation:

MTV: Where are you on Iron Man today?
Favreau: There's a lot of effects work that's going to be happening in the next six months. The movie is pretty much going to be everything that it's going to be by the end of January. Because so much of it is animated and CGI you have to turn it over and let those people do their work on it. So we'll be done in about a month with all the big creative decisions. And then the rest of it becomes about scoring and sound design.

MTV: How about [the rumor of] Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury?
Favreau: That's another interesting question. Right now the only thing that's saving me is the white noise out there. I don't like lying to the fans, but that doesn't mean I have to spill all the secrets either.

Matthew Fox Speaks on Playing Racer X

Television fans can't wait to see Matthew Fox return to the small screen on Lost (coming back January 31!).

But movies fans and comic book fans are also excited to see this actor portray Racer X in the upcoming Speed Racer movie. Fox recently discussed the role.

"When I found out that the Wachowskis were doing Speed Racer and were interested in me for it, I immediately went on the Internet, and as soon as I saw Racer X, I was like, I think that looks like me," Fox said. "I kinda think I would be a good Racer X. [Laughs] So then I was like, Dammit, I'm going to win this role! I went and read for it, and then waited quite a while."

The actor added that "Racer X is all about mystery. And it's all about not just disguise of suit, but it's disguise of voice â€" he's, like, impenetrable."

Fox also said he did all his own stunt work, something many actors cannot claim.

"I'm proud I did it all. They didn't double me. The stunt guys were like, 'We think you can do everything. Do you want to do everything?' 'Damn right I want to do everything. I want to do everything to the point where you think it looks like crap," he said.

"That's when I need you to step in and help me out.' [During] some of it I was just dying. I would do these fight sequences in this leather thing, and the amount of sweat was extraordinary. I was coming home ultra-dehydrated."

Sorry, this isn't a shot of the mysterious monster in Cloverfield.

But it is a photo of Mike Vogel and Michael Stahl-David from the film, hitting theaters on January 18.

The One Missed Call Movie Trailer

It looks pretty much like The Ring, only with cell phones instead of video tapes.

So, does that mean One Missed Call will be a hit or a miss at the box office? Take a look at its trailer and decide for yourself:

Jeffrey Wright and Giancarlo Giannini Return in 007

The latest bond film â€" rumored to be named simply 007 â€" began filming at Pinewood Studios in England today, and it looks like two Casino Royale cast members are set to reprise their roles in the sequel.

According to Variety, Jeffrey Wright and Giancarlo Giannini are both returning for the film. In 007's previous installment, Wright played CIA agent Felix Leiter, Bond's American liaison and all-round best buddy.

Giannini, meanwhile, will again portray corrupt cop Mathis, Bond's ally in Montenegro that betrayed him and was last seen being carted off to jail by.

Both casting choices reinforce the rumors that the plot of 007 will carry on directly from Casino Royale, with the British secret agent possibly set to continue investigating the criminal cartel that caused so much mischief last time round.

Enough about the male stars of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull for now.

Here's a shot of  Cate Blanchett in her role as an evil Russian:
