Gus Van Sant is certainly known to direct interesting fare.

Good Will Hunting and Elephant come to mind.

Now, the latest movie helmed by this director is called Paranoid Park. It's been nominated for Best Feature and Van Sant for Best Director at this year's Independent Spirit Awards.

Paranoid Park, like the aforementioned flicks, focuses on troubled teenagers. There's a mystery involving  two kids: one dies on train tracks, while the other - a skater boy - struggles with his role in the death.

The movie has already screened at a variety of film festivals, and will open in limited release March 7.
