Jennifer Connelly
How versatile is Jennifer Connelly?
She's starring in the upcoming drama Reservation Road and the upcoming romantic comedy He's Just Not That Into You.
The gorgeous actress recently spoke on the latter:
Q: What do you think your character would have done with the information that Joaquin Phoenix's character, Ethan, had in regards to who really killed their child? Jennifer Connelly: I think there are different components to it. First of all, I think the betrayal is infuriating. That's one element to it, this notion that they've been spending so much time together and he didn't know. That's a huge betrayal. But I think that they differ in that they have this confrontation, Ethan and Grace, [whether they should] care or not care about finding the guy? S
he just sees it differently. To her, I think the thing she's wrestling with is that nothing will make it better. The problem is the hole in her life and I think Ethan is chasing this demon that he's created as if inflicting horror on him [Mark Ruffalo's character, Dwight] or capturing him will set something right.
I don't think she feels it's going to take away any of the pain or suffering by inflicting it on someone else. I think she just views it as âhow am I going to move around this huge hole in my life?'
Q: You and Joaquin worked together 10 years ago in "Inventing the Abbotts." Has he changed since then? Connelly: I didn't have much to do with Joaquin in "Inventing the Abbotts." I remember having one scene with him and having to wear weird hats. I was an airline stewardess so I didn't have an experience with him like this. I've seen him and run into him a few times so I thought fondly of him, which is nice going into this.

Awake
What is the upcoming movie, Awake, starring Jessica Alba about? Let's ask the gorgeous actress herself...
It's about anesthetic awareness which is what happens when you go under for surgery, get put under for anesthesia and they don't give you enough for your body weight. Basically you're body is asleep, like it should be, but your mind is awake. So you hear and you can feel the entire surgery.
The whole time you can't say anything. You can't talk. You can't move. You can't cry. You can't do anything. You just have to suffer through it until it wears off.
It happens to people... So Hayden Christensen's character goes through this whole thing. My character, we're engaged for six months. We've been together for a year and when he gets a call that he got a heart, it's available and he can have this heart transplant, he's like, I'm going to do something for myself.
We're going to get married because our relationship he's been keeping a secret from his mother. So then the mother, in the waiting room with me, finds out that we got married and I'm her assistant.
And he's like a billionaire. So she doesn't trust my character and thinks it's weird She's always been coddling him his whole life and she doesn't want to let go. Then while he's in surgery, he has flashbacks to their relationship and how it started and why it means so much. She's the reason why he lives through this terrifying experience.
While Chris Noth has claimed that not every rumor, or photo, surrounding the Sex and the City movie should be believed, it's hard to imagine a wedding isn't the culmination of the upcoming film.

Juno
We can't wait to see Juno. How come? Two words:
Michael. Cera.
Aside from starring the Arrested Development and Superbad actor, though, the film looks awfully cute and humorous. Coming out in Januaray, here's the Juno movie poster:
Columbus Short told MTV he turned down the opportunity to portray The Green Lantern in the movie version of Justice League of America.
"I was up for that," the choreographer-turned-Stomp the Yard star said.
The actor joins a long list of auditioners, including T.I., Common and Tyrese Gibson, all of whom have been considered to slip on the most powerful ring in all of the comic book universe.
"Justice League is going to be dope, it's going to be huge," said Short adding: "But it's not the movie for me."
In the end,, Short said that he ultimately decided the script was too much popcorn for his taste
"I think there comes a point in an actor's career when he decides what type of actor you want to be," explained the 25-year-old, who appears in This Christmas next month alongside Chris Brown. "[Each actor] decides: I want to do commercial movies, but do I want to go this way? Or do I want to go that way?"
That doesn't bode too well for Justice League of America. Columbus Short thinks the script isn't heavy enough?!?

Land of the Lost
Earlier this week, ComingSoon.net got a chance to talk to Will Ferrell about Universal's upcoming Land of the Lost. Based on Sid & Marty Krofft's 1970s TV series of the same name.
The movie revolves around a disgraced paleontologist, his assistant and a macho tour guide who find themselves in a strange world inhabited by dinosaurs, monkey people and reptilian Sleestaks.
We'd buy tickets already if we could.
"It's going to be kind of on the tone of The English Patient, but with horribly frightening realistic dinosaurs. In fact, we only survive for 12 minutes of the film. It's going to be more like a nature documentary," Ferrell joked.
On a more serious note, the actor said the movie is "going to be kind of hopefully Jurrasic Park in terms of the quality. It's not going to be so much a spoof. It's going to be as real as possible and hopefully funny."
If reports are true, a pair of blockbuster movies will collide - in a great way - this winter.
Supposedly, there will be be a six-to-seven minute preview of The Dark Knight shown before IMAX screenings of I Am Legend, which opens December 14.
As previously reported, the next film in the Batman franchise was actually shot partially in IMAX format, especially the introduction of The Joker (played by Heath Ledger).
Director Christopher Nolan recently told The Hollywood Reporter:"In continuing the story of such a great icon, I'm thrilled to be able to expand the scope of the film, not just in terms of its story, but in giving Batman and the Joker the largest possible canvas on which to face off.
No existing technology compares with the IMAX format in terms of its ability to throw the audience into the action, and we're very proud and excited to use this technology in a way that no one has before."
